Recruitment has been a huge focus at Neonomics, and it has always been about finding the best talent, no matter where they are from. Diversity is one of our greatest assets, and we are proud of having over 25 different nationalities among our 90 employees. Out of these, almost 40% are women (which we’re aiming for it to be no less than 50 %). Due to covid, all our interviews are happening on digital platforms, and we are experiencing that this is working well for both us and the candidates, so we might even continue a partial digital recruitment process after covid!

What kind of people are you looking for?

There is no right or wrong answer to who our “perfect match” is, though it is important for us that our potential new employees are eager to learn and want to contribute to our company! We look for those who enjoy working closely in teams, are proactive and agile when things change course. The skills required to work at Neonomics varies, and we look for all levels of seniority. It is not necessarily the skills that you have today that makes you the right candidate, but the mindset and motivation to learn.

How would you describe working at Neonomics?

Work life at Neonomics is a lot of fun. You get to be a part of a multicultural company and work with lots of different people, which is both inspiring and rewarding. We like to hang out (now virtually, but hopefully soon again at the office) having weekly themed quizzes, fintalks, as well as social meetings, yoga lessons and other occasional wellness activities which can be hosted by anyone. Whatever you’re interested in — you’re likely to find someone else interested in it too! Although we have grown a lot from being a small startup, we still foster a startup mentality with a flat structure where your voice is important and will be heard. We offer a competitive salary, a 7% pension and insurance. And last but not least we are animal lovers, so you’ll be able to bring your dog to the office.

What are 5 tips you can give to candidates when applying?

  2. What are your strengths? Make sure your resume is updated so we can see your skills, strengths and experience.
  3. Do some research on us and what we do! We would love to hear what you know.
  4. Is this a suitable position for you? Please read the job requirements and the skills needed.
  5. Last but not least, are we a good match? Let us know why you think we are.
